It seems that this allegorical image needs no further explanation, as it already conveys strength and character, child's games, tragedy, ringing sounds, and silence all at once. Armed with an ancient weapon that is not appropriate either in terms of age or size for this youngster, he is nevertheless ready to be a Defender.

The shimmering texture of the lithographic stone creates the effect of an image veiled by antiquity, with slightly blurred edges, saturated with dramatic shadows, while the brick wall in the background gives the scene a specific location.
