Rustam Yakhikhanov

Was born in 1986 in Grozny.

In 2011 he graduated from St. Petersburg Academy of Arts named after Ilya Repin, the workshop of monumental painting headed by Academician Bystrov A.K.

In his work, he is devoted to the national character, traditions, and history of his native region. Nevertheless, some series of his works are universal and intelligible to absolutely every viewer because they speak of universal humanistic values and important moments in everyone's life.
